Acts 9:31African Team Update, Sep, Oct, Nov 2017
Here is an exciting update of what’s been happening in Mozambique in the three months after the two large outreaches in July and August. Five new churches; exciting reports of the fire of Jesus taking hold again; Wheresoever Councils actively evangelizing and planting churches on their own; a resurrected car and bus (at least for now), progress in church buildings; and sadly, reports of Kenneth’s and Enesia’s fathers both graduating to life in glory. more

Outreach to Chiuta and Chifunde Districts, Mozambique, Aug 2017
Another outreach by the African team to areas where Wheresoever has ministered in the past, but has not been able to return for some time.
There were interesting challenges throughout - government authorities not allowing the team to evangelize at first, one of the Wheresoever councils had dissolved due to the long time between visits, the car as usual giving the team trouble. But our God is almighty. He gave us the victory. Nearly 4,000 decisions for Christ in total, a new Wheresoever Council formed, three locations now exitedly following Jesus seeing fires re-lit. Thank you Lord. more

Outreach to Mutarara District, July 2017
The Wheresoever African Team completed a major outreach to the Mutarara District of the Tete Province of Mozambique... We celebrate that the trip was very successful. Altogether, roughly 6,600 persons accepted the freedom and light of Jesus Christ into their lives, two new churches were planted, and a new Wheresoever Council was formed... The team visited 7 locations within the district, holding leader seminars, crusades, showing the Jesus Film and other outreaches. more

Koreans Praying in England, June 2017
Danny and Lindy spent a week helping the Lighthouse Community Church to host a team of South Koreans who  are called to pray for revival in the UK. The whole Korean team was 250 persons, but the subset we helped to host was 9 of them. It was an honor to help to host and pray with them. We prayed in and around many churches in the area west of Southampton on the eastern edge of the New Forest. They are so serious about the need for prayer here that they also prayed each night from midnight to 5 am. They feel so passionate about revival in England because it was an English missionary who introduced Christianity in their country 150 years ago, and he gave his life in the process. more

Church roof in Tete near completion, June 2017
The roof of thiis Hope of Glory church in Tete (the capital city of the Tete Province of Mozambique) is nearing completion. The building up of the walls and roof have been in progress for some time...  This church is important because it is in an influential city, and by far most of the churches we work with are in villages or small towns...   Danny Simoes pastors church. He's part of the Wheresoever African Team, usually referred to as Tall Danny. more

Hospital relief in Mozambique, May 2017
Received this report from Kenneth in Mozambique: Patients at the hospital praised God for the love they encountered when the Wheresoever Ministries team went to share the Word of God, pray for sick and give  gifts for  the needy. more

Wheresoever African Team activities, April 2017

The Wheresoever African team is still busy spreading the Word throughout the land and strengthening the existing Christians.  Outreaches, prayer and raising spiritual maturity with focus on Jesus Christ are some of the activities of the African Team during April.  They're also busy planning and arranging some major evangelistic plans that will be taking place in July and August. more

USA Dance and Flags Workshop at Hope Chapel, March 2017
Wheresoever held a Dance and Flags workshop at Hope Chapel, Lindy and Danny's home church in Apex, North Carolina.  It was open to all; dancers, future dancers, or anyone seeking to worship Jesus in new ways, regardless of church or denomination. more

Relief for Floods in Lilongwe, Malawi,  March 2017
The rainy season in Malawi takes place roughly from November through February.  This year it hit especially hard in different areas of Malawi, including the capital city, Lilongwe.  Some lives were lost.  A number of families, including some of the Wheresoever Team volunteers, lost their homes as they were damaged or swept away by the rain.  Livestock and crops were lost.  The needs are great since this is the time period they call "hunger time", since the harvest has not yet arrived and prices spike as they compete for the scarce food. more

Orphans and Prisoners, New Year's Ministry, Jan 2017
Brief report received from Kenneth:  On New Year's Day, the Wheresoever African Team rounded up many of the local orphans and gave a few simple gifts to them. It was wonderful, we managed to share with children from  three villages...  The following day, the team went to preach and cherish the prisoners  in Vila Ulongue in Mozambique. There were 109 men , 5 women and 2 infants making a total of 116 . more

Outreaches in Nansato and Matewere, Nov 2016
The Wheresoever African team held outreaches in the Mozambique villages of Nansato and Matewere, reaching out to the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The next generation is getting training - as you can see in the picture, Ethel is preaching at the Nansato outreach. And Christiano is praying for the sick accoring to Mark 16:17 "...they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." As a result, 195 souls came to Jesus in Nansato.

In Matewere, the power of prayer was on display for all to see. The sound equipment had problems for four hours before everything worked. The team prayed and they were able to get some response from the equipment but it didn’t reach very far. But technical difficulties cannot stop the will of God - even as they struggled with the equipment, 217 lives came to Jesus. The team was told that witch doctors had been spreading their charms around before their arrival - they will not succeed. A woman was also healed of asthma. more

Women's Conference, Oct 2016
A women's conference was held at the Wheresoever mission base in Vila Ulongue on October 28-30, 2016:  The theme was “Women, RUN with the Gospel Of Jesus Christ”...  Many church branches were represented, many of which planted through Wheresoever. Roughly 600 persons attended...  One of the preachers was a 10-year-old girl named Ferre, teaching roughly 600 women on Luke 7:11-16, about Jesus raising a widow's son. She spoke confidently and without fear. This is important because in Africa it is not common to see children trained in the gospel. Many of them are guided away, trained in witchcraft or caught in prostitution. more

Israel, Sept 2016
Danny and Lindy spent two weeks prayer-walking through parts of Israel. Hadera, Nazareth, Tiberias, Capernaum, praying all the way around the Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, and many places in between. Most of the travel using normal public transportation, buses, etc. It was very moving to pray around Nazareth where Jesus grew up and learned his carpentry, Capernaum where Jesus moved when he had to leave Nazareth and performed many of his miracles, and Jerusalem where he gave his life for us and then defeated death. more

1608 West Magoe, Mozambique with US Team, Aug 2016
Tina joined Danny, Lindy and the African Team in Mozambique in order to go to West Magoe, one of the two areas in the Tete Province that Wheresoever had not yet covered to some extent. The Holy Spirit led us every step of the way. We even ended up crossing the mighty Zambezi River by boat and almost by accident were able to cover the last geograpic area of the province that we felt God had asked us to cover. This is important because now the focus can shift to infilling - helping the existing Wheresoever Councils and local pastors to spread the Gospel in areas closer to their homes. more

Danny, Lindy & African Team in Mozambique, July-Aug 2016
Danny, Lindy and the African Team were together in Mozambique for most of July and August. There were crusades, baptisms, radio presentations, leader seminars, discussions with pastors, and many other activities. more

Malawi Outreaches & Graduation with US Team, June-Aug 2016
Wheresoever is expanding in Malawi. We have two Wheresoever Councils there. One covers Central Malawi and is based in Lilongwe headed by Moses, The second one covers Southern Malawi and is based in Blantyre, the second largest city in Malawi, headed by Lloyd Banda together with Enesia Chitheka Luwis, Kenneth's wife. Nthiti Village Outreach, June 2016
This outreach took place in Nthiti village where 340 lives got saved in the name of Jesus, including 2 village headmen. The Holy Spirit was present and touched many lives as you can see in the pictures. Jesus is coming soon, many places like this need to be reached with the gospel. People are very hungry for the gospel of Jesus Christ. SHALOM. more

Nkhanga Outreach, May 2016
The Wheresoever African Team reached out to a Mozambican village that has a reputation for being completely lost in tribal religions, ancestor worship and has great respect for "traditional dancers" which are not at all what their cute name implies.  People greatly fear each other and depend on witchcraft and beer.  Few children go to school.  Our team performed a drama showing that "with God, ALL things are possible".  Crusades were held over two days during which 1,352 persons accepted Jesus into their lives and two new church branches were launched. more

African Team Outreaches, April 2016
The Wheresoever African Team had a busy time reaching souls in Mozambique during April and part of May 2016.  They ran a number of outreaches and crusades across the Tsangano and Angonia districts of the Tete Province of Mozambique, including the villages of Khathiti and Mgwadara.  Mgwadara is one of the villages which had never been reached with the gospel, even though some of the villagers had been exposed to the Gospel in other villages.  More than 1,800 persons turned to Jesus during these outreaches. more

Thailand, Mar 2016
Danny, Lindy, Charles and Tina spent a brief time with friends at the Akha Foundation in Thailand.  The foundation includes an orphanage and Bible  School serving the Akha people, a large tribe spread across multiple Asian countries. The team enjoyed interacting with the orphans, watching the children deep in worship was a very moving experience.  It was nice to also be able to spend some time with the friends and their family.  We had a fun outing riding elephants at the end of the visit. more

Myanmar, Mar 2016
Danny and Lindy were joined by Charles and Tina from Raleigh, NC to go teach and encourage the students at a Bible School in Myanmar (formerly called Burma).  It was exciting to teach on various topics across different tribes and languages.
The area is drug infested and it was interesting to pray into many of the local problems, such as young girls being sold to finance the parent's drug habits.  The team was honored to participate in the graduation of seven students, and the ordination of two pastors. more

Malaysia, Feb-Mar 2016
Danny and Lindy spent some weeks with good friends, some of which are also pastors. During that time they ministered and worshipped the Lord in several places of business, private homes and other places in this very interesting nation. The second half of the visit was spent running Christian Dance workshops as part of CDFM (Christian Dance Fellowship of Malaysia), in three cities in East Malaysia on the island of Borneo. more

China, Jan 2016
Danny and Lindy visited and ministered to a group of friends that they met via good friends of theirs, a couple who recently relocated to the US from China.  This is the second time Danny and Lindy met many of them, the first time during the visit a little over a  year earlier.  The picture at a Chinese beach reminds me of Jesus telling Peter and Andrew that he would make them fishers of men - and immediately they left their nets and followed him. more

Christmas - New Year in Mozambique, Dec 2015
Special outdoor service in Kamkhomba, adjacent to the city of Tete, capital of our province.  This is the middle of the rainy season in Mozambique, the heavy rain clouds formed and a light rain started which was enough to cause concern.  So of course, time to pray.  And you can guess what happened - the rain stopped.  They were told that there was heavy rainfall 1 km away, but no more rain here until after the service completed and God had been praised.
A few days later the team also blessed the orphans at the Wheresoever base, and a picture of the children's ministry. more

Mkhungwa Crusade, Dec 2015
After a church building was pulled down by traditional dancers in a neighboring village, there were similar threats to the existing church in Mkhungwa.  When the Wheresoever Team heard this, they decided to go subside the fear and repossess the land in the name of Jesus,  It was so encouraging to see so many people come to Jesus, including the ones who had been doing the threatening...  God came down powerfully and touched people, deliverance and healing were everywhere.  701 people came to Jesus.  We left people confessing Jesus is Lord. more

Strengthening the Church in Mikuyu, Dec 2015
The Wheresoever African Team went to encourage the Mikuyu church which they had previously planted.  It is so good to see how people are committed to the Lord, including the young ones you can see in the pictures.  The team said that they felt very much like they were saying "yes Lord, send ME to encourage all those who God loves in the African bush".  Later a crusade was held outside in the open air, and 173 received Jesus.  To God be the glory.  Renato and Tony were back in action - they were on Christmas break from the Bible School they are attending in South Africa. more

Moses and Eunice Have a Baby Boy, Nov 2015
This is a time for celebration. On Nov 27th, Comfort Blessed Chimwaza was born to Pastors Moses and Eunice, who have been a key part of Wheresoever for many years, and they have now formally started Wheresoever in Malawi. This calls for special rejoicing because they have been praying for a baby for six years now, and they have experienced some serious and painful difficulties along the way. But God is Good, He has answered the prayer of many intercessors across two continents. more

Katsanya Church Pulled Down, Nov 2015
One of the Wheresoever church plants has had their brick church building attacked and destroyed. We understand that the nearby witch doctors were unhappy with the presence of Christians in the village. They complained that the curses and spells that they put on the Christians were not working, and people were losing confidence in them. So they arranged more

Malawi Crusade in Chiradzulu, Nov 2015
This outreach in Malawi was meaningful as Wheresoever expands outside of Mozambique. This is the first time that the two Wheresoever Councils in Malawi join forces to reach the lost. They are led by Moses from the Central Region (capital city Lilongwe) and Enesia in the Southern Region (largest city Blantyre). It was a two-day crusade, meeting twice each day. 2,611 souls came to Jesus during those two days. more

Israel FlagsIsrael, May 2015

This trip to Israel was a prayer assignment led by Mary Jones of the International Christian Dance Fellowship (ICDF). The purpose was intercessory prayer at strategic locations across the nation. Lots of prayer and some prophetic Christian dance. Pentecost morning in the Upper Room where the crowds broke out with loud prayer, praise and tongues and some hearing the sound of rushing wind. Refreshing. The team was composed of 13 persons from 8 different nations, including a key Wheresoever member. …read more

One of our treasured leaders in Africa is Enesia Chitheka Luwis, wife of our Southern African Director Kenneth Luwis Malunga, and a well known Christian recording artist in Malawi. Outreaches in Songo & Estima Including New Church Plant, March 2015
The Wheresoever African Team returned to Songo after the head of the Wheresoever Council there, Pastor Abraham, requested our help. The team was very effective there with the help of the Holy Spirit, but was also led to nearby Estima after an incident with multiple murders took place there. God's presence was evident, with many salvations, miracles, signs and wonders, and an unplanned new church planted. more

Vila Ulongue Church Roof Completed, March 2015
The roof on the new church building for the Foursquare church that currently meets at the mission base has been completed. Wheresoever helped financially with a large portion of the roof expenses. Generous donations even overflowed and are still helping with part of the expense for doors and windows. , which are in progress now. This is a wonderful strategic achievement because this church is truly missions minded. It has been responsible for planting and overseeing 35 other churches. 3 of the churches planted by this one have already planted other churches. more
