CALL
Our call is to GO wheresoever the Lord sends,
and do whatever He requires,
praying worshipping
teaching evangelizing
preaching discipling

FOCUS
Our focus is to listen and wait upon the Lord, being obedient to His instruction wheresoever He leadeth....
People all over the world have seen and heard the gospel of Jesus Christ as a result of God’s call to this ministry, accepting Him as Lord and Savior of their lives, and many have been restored from various afflictions and addictions. Much seed has been sown and revival has occurred.
The Lord places a country in our hearts and we pray over the map until He gives the area and the date to GO. Bathed in prayer we journey, responding step by step in obedience to His directing, sometimes not knowing anything that is about to unfold, except there will be an outpouring of His love, a release of His blessings, a reminder of His eternal faithfulness. We watch in great awe as the Lord unfolds the details.
Also, we prayerfully respond to ministry invitations. Our heart’s desire is to usher in the glory of God, so that people’s lives will be changed forever; comforted, saved, healed and delivered.
“…Go back and report … what you have seen and heard:
The blind receive sight,
the lame walk,
those who have leprosy are cured,
the deaf hear,
the dead are raised,
and the good news is preached to the poor.”
Luke 7:22
OVERVIEW OF ACTIVITIES
- Prayer Watch - Prayer team of like-minded people all over the world interceding for the target people groups. Also gathering at the USA mission base with music-led praise and worship, testimonies, and prayer for the Ministries’ activities and for the World.
- Mission Journeys - Short term trips (3 days to several weeks) to pray for the local community and the host nation, to preach the Gospel, to teach, to encourage local Christian believers, to encourage economic development, education, health care and charity. "GO" Journeys are initiated by the Holy Spirit's prompting and often we do not know the purpose until much later, a lot of the ongoing ministry is born from one of these journeys. There are also planned trips to different countries including part of the Wheresoever team and often other interested persons. See more information below.
- Seminars (International & US) - Teaching and/or hands on training in any aspect of the Christian faith, including but not limited to the use of dramatic arts for evangelism and discipleship and teaching on our missionary experience. Sometimes seminars are a joint effort with other ministries and/or local churches.
- Community Outreach - Presentation of the Christian Gospel message through music, drama, dance and speech. Ministry to the community through individual and corporate prayer.
- Bible Training - Training classes for local church leaders on the Bible. In Mozambique, Wheresoever intends to expand the Bible training to 7 or more regional training centers in partnership with local area churches.
- Leader Mentoring - Personal mentoring of local church and denominational leaders.
- Orphan/Widow/Elderly Care-Mozambique - Teaching and training community leaders about the need and practical aspects of care for orphans, widows and the elderly. Help establish Care Points as central locations where provisions are distributed. Wheresoever encourages families to adopt orphans as a preferred alternative to orphanages. Local churches in the target country as well as western countries are then encouraged to provide physical support to these families through donations of money, food and necessities.
- Prison Ministry - Presentations to prisoners and guards of the gospel message, gifts of food staples and necessities. Follow up visits to mentor inmates and guards. Wheresoever does this in partnership with other ministries in the US, and directly in other countries.
- Hospital Ministry - Visits to hospitals in target countries to pray for and to encourage the staff and patients. Gifts of medicine and supplies. Future medical mission trips and possible health clinic development and operation.
- Clean Water Projects - Various well projects in Mozambique, including replacing the electric pump for a rural hospital, hand digging community and farming wells, repairing broken hand pump wells, and developing new electric pump deep wells.
- Business Development - Start up and development of businesses with a special emphasis on sustainable and replicable business models. Hands on training in business principles and operating of businesses. Current businesses include several small farms, an internet café, and a regional bus transportation service. Planned future businesses may include agricultural consulting, poultry and egg production, brick manufacturing, private schools and more.
MOZAMBIQUE MINISTRY
Major ministry effort currently requiring the majority of attention from Wheresoever over the last six years. The ministry to Mozambique overflows to Malawi. The overflow ministry to Malawi is coordinated by the Mozambique team. Across Mozambique and Malawi there have been more than 80,000 decisions for Christ and good congregational growth in existing churches. Wheresoever has been the catalyst for starting more than 250 new churches. Pastor seminars are conducted and a Bible School has been started to better train the indigenous leaders. The mission base in Mozambique currently has ten full-time team members, all Mozambique citizens or Malawi missionaries to Mozambique. The Mozambique team also coordinates ministry to orphans, prisoners and hospital patients, as well as clean water projects and business development activities.

USA MINISTRY
The ministry base in the USA is located in Raleigh, NC. The team in the US consists of the founders, Lindy and Danny, and a number of other loving volunteers, one full-time and six part-time, who help with the ministry activities in the US:
- The Wheresoever team in the US is often asked to share about missionary experiences or minister the Word at various churches.
- Part of the Wheresoever team makes up a Christian Dance group that ministers at various locations using dance and the arts - churches, detention centers, retirement homes, outreach events, etc.
- Prayer is an important focus area with an email Prayer Distribution List with members all over the world, and frequent praise / worship / intercessory prayer at the US mission base. See the GET INVOLVED page for more information. See Prayer Meeting Pictures for a sample view of meetings.
- Individuals in the Wheresoever Team are strongly encouraged to join with other local ministries and spread the love Jesus locally as well as world-wide. Here are links to some of the local ministries that the Wheresoever team is involved with:
- Pardoned by Christ- Prison ministry.
- Church in the Woods - Ministry to the poor and homeless in and around Raleigh.
- Clubs in the City - Ministry to at-risk inner city youth.
- With Love From Jesus - Helps supply the poor with food and materials while presenting the Gospel to them.
- Administration of Wheresoever world-wide ministries, including accounting, book-keeping, website support, fund-raising activities, research, and coordination of ministry activities around the world.
Wheresoever is involved in ministry to many nations. It is often evangelistic in nature, and seeks to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of severely underprivileged people as well as people like you and I. Sometimes it consists mostly of prayer over a land or a people. Most of the ongoing ministry that Wheresoever is involved in is birthed in a mission journey, each journey generally falls into one of two categories, "GO" Journeys and Planned Mission Trips.
- "GO" Journeys – The Holy Spirit reveals a place or people where we need to go, and later also when and for how long. Out of obedience and bathed in prayer, we GO. We often don’t know the purpose or anyone in the area, but God opens doors through connections that often later turn into long-term friends. In many cases God reveals the purpose during the journey, sometimes in very surprising ways. The mission team for a "GO" journey consists of a core team member, sometimes accompanied by a small number of team members or close prayer partners.
- Planned Mission Trips – These are trips that are planned in advance and can accommodate much larger teams. They often involve a partnership between Wheresoever and other ministries. These can come about by invitation or as follow-on activity from other trips. Christians from any church denomination can GO. The mission teams are composed of people from any church denomination. The only requirements are that they love Jesus, sense the Holy Spirit leading them to GO, and have a heart for reaching the lost.
Wheresoever also teaches and equips missionaries that come with us. They are given the opportunity to further discover who they are in Christ and step into their giftings, often to their own surprise. Teams are made up of people from different denominations joined together for the call of the Lord. This is true of Wheresoever Core Teams as well as teams assembled for specific mission trips.
Use of the arts to worship and to preach the gospel in a visual way is an important element of the work of Wheresoever. We have seen an increase in reponse to the Lord.
We are often surprised how the Holy Spirit arranges assignments in the most unexpected places, as in leading us to Cambodians inside Finland, and to a Nigerian church in Spain; to the Mauritians in London, and of course to many friends in the Hispanic churches here in the USA. We truly feel a part of the body of Christ.
Click here to go to the Ministry Map which shows many of the places around the world where Wheresoever has been privileged to GO, including a brief summary of the ministry in each one.
In many cases after a mission journey we sense that our assignment is not yet complete and we need to continue with follow-on mission trips or continued encouragement to the local believers. Some, such as Mozambique, which has a Mission Base established with local believers present 24/7, have a tremendous amount of ongoing activity.
